TEAM NEWS

Men’s 1s – An incredible two horse race to the line!!

Winners of last year’s top division, TWC 1s have been chasing Div.1 leaders Horley for a second successive title win but it’s not been easy. In every match Horley have extended the lead, steadily ratcheting up the points.

Only a slip-up in Horley’s second to last match combined with TWC securing maximum points could make a shot at the title even viable - highly unlikely, given Horley's form across every one of their 14 matches of the season so far, but … that’s precisely what happened.

Horley unexpectedly lost to Colets and TWC secured a 19-0 win over Surrey Sports Park - the irretrievable gap has gone.

The winner of the final match of the season, when Horley and TWC clash away at Horley’s “home” venue the K2 Centre in Crawley, will lift the Division 1 title.

If you would like to come along to watch the last match of the season and to see if TWC 1s will be crowned Division 1 winners for a second year in a row please email: director@twcsquash.co.uk

TEAMS: Round-up

Ladies 1
With just three matches left of the winter season our flagship ladies team are mid-table and will start next season again in the county’s top division.

Vets 1
Currently sitting in second place in Division 1, Vets 1s have four matches to play before the end of the season giving them every opportunity to secure the Div. 1 title.

Vets 2
Only 3 points split places 3 to 5. Vets 2 are in the fourth place and some way off challenging the top two spots, a mid-table finish seems probable

Vets 3
Place jointly second from last in Division 3 in the thirds team will a fight on their hands not to get relegated in Division 4

Vintage 1
The standard in Division 1 is very high and our newly formed vintage squad have found it hard going. It looks like Division 2 will be their starting point for next season

Kind regards,
Stacey Ross
Squash Director
