We are delighted to announce that the new Tennis Box Leagues Season starts today. Please login to your TWC account and find the leagues under the leagues tab. The are also full details of this years league rules for anybody who needs a refresh. The two choices of match format for this season will remain the same as last season. The match deadline for run 1 is 20th October.
We have had a signifcant numbr of new entrants to this years league, especially from members who have been entered into the higher leagues. Please see the rules extract below for how leagues acceptance has been done.
League acceptance
Players will be accepted and placed in a league based upon their finishing league position at the end of the last league run. Where previous entrants do not re enter they will be removed from the league and all entrants who finished below them will shift up the appropriate number of places. Where there are new entrants who didn't play in the previous run they will be placed in a box at the coaching teams discretion. At this stage any notes new entrants provided will be considered when placing them into a box. This will place all entrants in one long list and from there I will go down the list in groups of 5 and that will give me your box number.
This may mean your league number isn't what you expected but that is becuase new entrants have been placed in a higher league. Your position relative to the players you were competing against last season is correct.
