It is pleasing to see our new courts being enjoyed in an immediate return by so many members.
Our thanks go to all those who have been following the guidelines.
However, a minority have not been following the rules and playing regular squash with members from outside their household or support bubble.
There has been a considerable amount of work carried out over the past 5 weeks to ensure that our squash facility was ready on day one and not adhering to the guidelines not only undermines the efforts made but risks the courts being closed.
It is expected that the rules relating to the type of games that can be played and with whom will be relaxed over the coming weeks. We ask players to show restraint until such time.
Please can you also take note of the below guidelines.
1. Play is for 45 minutes not 1 hour
The additional 15 minutes is for the extractors to recycle the air on the courts. 15 minutes must be left between the end of play and the time of the next booking.
2. Place BOTH names in the booking sheet
This is a club rule regardless of Coronavirus and now more important for track and trace purposes.
Players who ignore these rules and do not fairly consider the health of others run the risk of losing their playing rights.
