TWC’s Optasia Squash Championships quarterfinal matches played out to a crowd of more than 250 last night as squash enthusiasts from across the UK and Europe flocked to see one of the world’s strongest tournaments progress to the semi-final stage.
Three former world number ones remain in the last four and will be bidding for their place in the final this evening when matches get underway from 7pm.
First on is Number 1 seed Ali Farag against tournament giant killer, unseeded Nicolas Mueller from Switzerland who has taken out two seeds on his route through, including 4 seed Marwan Elshorbagy last night in the performance of his career.

Following on at 8.30pm will be Number 3 seed Diego Elias from Peru who takes on Mohamed Elshorbagy who has been inside the world's top three for nine straight years.
The sports hall has been transformed into a first class sporting arena fit to host the best players in the modern game and all of whom have been highly complimentary about the club and the glass court.
Professional and showing themselves to be true ambassadors for our sport, the players have been giving their time to meet the members, give advice to our aspiring juniors and also to speak with the children from the Squash Squared programme.
