SQUASH: Club Night - booking required and Safety

Dear [[firstname]],

It’s great to see the booking sheets filling up and increasing usage of the clubhouse including the changing rooms and showers which are open.

As we begin to return to normal it is important that all members and guests who use the facilities can do so with the confidence that their health and well-being remains paramount.

It is therefore important that we abide by the rules which are there to ensure the full return is permanent.

England Squash yesterday announced that players must sanitise hands and disinfect balls before play, at 20-minute intervals, and at the end.

Please can I also remind players that:

• Both names MUST be entered into the booking sheet. If you are practising alone please select “solo practice” from the drop down box and “guest” if you are hitting with a non- member

• Please sanitise door handles before and after play

• Please do not switch off extractors

• The court must be left vacant 15 minutes before the next booking so that the extractors can recycle the air.

CLUB NIGHT & GROUP SESSIONS– Advance booking required

Group training and playing sessions such as Club Night, Team Training, Club Training etc will, for the immediate period operate with a slight reduction in numbers.

To ensure that can happen and to allow for numbers to be monitored, group sessions must be booked and where necessary paid for in advance. This can be done through the My Courts system.

Club Night will be bookable in the time slots shown below on Mycourts.

5.30 to 7pm
7pm to 8.30pm
8.30 pm to 10pm

HOW TO BOOK

• Go on to the booking sheets on My Courts and click on the date of the group session e.g. Club Night on 24th May

• At the top of the page you will see the events/group sessions that are taking place that day

• Scroll across to “BOOK NOW” and click the time that you would like to attend

• Enter your name and make payment

Regards,

Stacey Ross
