3 x World Champion and Jonah Bryant in action this evening starting 7.30 at Surbiton

Dear [[firstname]],

Forget what you were supposed to be doing tonight and come and watch this!

Three time world champion Nick Matthew and Jonah Bryant, who now sits at 16 in the world, will both be in action when TWC 1s take on Surbiton in Surrey Cup in an away game starting at 7.30pm.

Surbiton are currently in second place, just one point behind leaders Horley and TWC are fourth. A TWC win this evening is key if we are to close the gap on the top three leading sides. St George’s Hill, in third place, play Horley tonight at the K2 Centre in Crawley.

Jonah’s opponent is 35 year old Adrian Waller who has reached 17 in the world and now ranks at 53.

Sam Osborne- Wylde will be making his season debut this evening and faces the formidable and legendary warrior Nick Matthew who incredibly is nominated down at 10th in the Surbiton side.

Elijah Thomas, who reached his career high of 93 this summer, will play at third string against talented Jack Mitterer. Jack does not play the World Tour so is without a world ranking but is hugely talented and more than capable of a win should Elijah not play close to his best.

Oli Dunbar, new to the team this season takes on the UK’s brightest junior star, 18 year old Dylan Roberts who just this month won the British under 19 Nationals and will be keen test himself against one of the PSA’s fastest rising players.

Michael Andrews for Surbiton is paired against long term member of the TWC 1st Team Robert Downer formerly ranked 72 in the world.

The order of play at Surbiton this evening is shown below with TWC players listed first. Numbers in brackets denote position in respective teams.

1st match on: Sam (nom.3) v Nick (nom.10)
1st match on: Robert (nom.7) v Michael (nom.14)
2nd match on: Elijah (nom.5) v Jack (nom.12)
2nd match on: Oli Dunbar (nom.6) v Dylan (nom.13)
Last match on: Jonah (nom.2) v Adrian (nom.4)

This evening’s squash will be some of the best to see this season and well worth a short trip down the A3!

Please come along to support – hope to see you 7.30pm.

Kind regards,

Stacey Ross
Squash Director
