, Below is a round up of forthcoming events along with some general squash news. LEAGUES The current league cycle is due to finish on 24th August, leaving just under 2 weeks for you to fit in your remaining matches. 1st TEAM The Men's first team are at the top of their division and are playing at home tomorrow against Colets. Our line up is as follows; Stacey Ross Lloyd Barcza Paul Carnero Luke Rackham EVENTS A date for the diary, The TWC Christmas Classic will take place on December 12th. This is a one day graded event with all matches being played to a conclusion on the day. The format will be based on the size of the entries but it is likely that matches will be the best of 3 games with each player guaranteed a minimum of 2 matches. The event will be open to all abilities and to players from other clubs. Graded events ensure that players are grouped with those of a similar standard in order to avoid one sided matches and increase the probability of good squash. To register your interest please e mail : director@twcsquash.co.uk. Online entry form to follow. JUNIOR EVENTS Sat 17th Oct A junior Bronze event for age groups under 11, 13 and 15 boys and girls. This event allows juniors to accrue ranking points towards a national ranking and is a lower level event open to juniors from across the country. Our hosting of this event allows our juniors to get tournament experience at their home club and to get a good look at the national standard. Sunday 8th November A Neil Desai junior event for juniors under 9 and 11 other boys and girls. This is a grass-roots level event designed to introduce juniors to competitive match play in a more fun and social environment. This event will use the mini squash balls as well as the regular black ball. To help decide whether your child should take part please contact Emma Mathews : emma@twcsport.co.uk 6th October 6pm to 8pm In the Lake Room we are hosting a Surrey SRA forum which amongst other topics will include how to grow a club's membership.
