SQUASH: More for Your Squash Membership — No subscription or court fee increases

Dear [[firstname]],

The start of the new squash season is only weeks away and there is much to look forward to in the year ahead.

The new subscription year begins 1st October and we are pleased to share a range of new and improved benefits for members. Importantly, there will be no increase to squash subscriptions or court fees.

We want to make sure that you continue to get excellent value from your squash membership. To this end we are investing in our facilities, increasing playing opportunities and experiences that matter most to our members.

NEW

• New junior subscription category: Junior Squash Access – We are introducing a new, lower-cost junior membership to make squash more accessible to junior players

• New under 30 student & apprenticeship category: Players undertaking vocational training and apprenticeships will have access to a great value new membership offer

• New opportunities for women's squash : An additional ladies' team will create more opportunities to play competitive squash, meet other players and get involved in the section.

• New Padel courts :Towards the end of next year, you will be able to play Padel at our new Raynes Park site, with four new, professional-standard covered courts, all floodlit to maximise playing time throughout the year. Existing squash members will be able to play Padel without paying an additional membership fee, giving you even more opportunities to enjoy racket sports.

• New opportunities for younger players – We will make 8 weeks of free squash available to local schools, either on school premises or at TWC, helping more young people discover and enjoy the sport. Should you wish to have this at your child’s school please contact Stacey: director@twcsquash.co.uk

IMPROVED

Improved courts and playing environment – A full court refurbishment is planned for all 5 courts; floor sanding, walls cleaned, doors realigned. The fans have been serviced to improve ventilation, with two new fans ordered and scheduled for installation

• Improved social playing opportunities – Our social league has proved a great way for members of every ability to get regular games, meet fellow players and enjoy competitive squash in a relaxed environment. We will continue to develop the league alongside our wider playing programme.

• Continued opportunities to represent TWC – For those who enjoy competitive squash, we will continue to field our 15 existing teams, giving players of every ability opportunities to represent the club, compete and play regularly throughout the season.

VALUE

In addition to freezing squash subscriptions and court fees we are hopeful for another world-class tournament later next year.

The squash committee believes this combination of new opportunities, improved facilities and continued value makes this one of the strongest offerings we have put together for our members.

Our aim is simple: to give you more opportunities to play, better facilities to enjoy and a squash membership that continues to represent excellent value.

WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU

While we are proud of what the Squash Section offers, we know there is always more we can do.

The squash committee would love to hear your views on everything from the courts and coaching to competitions, social activities, membership and your overall experience. Please get in touch with your ideas, suggestions and feedback. We want to continue improving the section in ways that matter to you.

The new subscription year begins in 1st October and we very much hope you will choose to remain part of the Squash Section - we look forward to seeing you on court and thank you for your continued support.

Kind regards,
Stacey Ross
Squash Director
