The Wimbledon Tennis Championships will take place beginning today, 2nd July until Sunday 15th July. Please note the below information to avoid any inconvenience during this period.
CLUB NIGHTS
Squash Club Night will take place at the usual times but will not be overseen by a coach and court 5 will also be out of action reducing the number of courts available during Monday and Friday evening Club Nights from 2nd to 16th July inclusive. There will be no charge to attend during this time.
CLUB-HOUSE OPENING TIMES
Please note that the clubhouse, bar and restaurant will not be open to members until 7.30pm each evening. Squash members will still be able to book courts and use the changing room as normal.
ENTRANCE TO THE CLUB HOUSE
The usual entrance will not be in use during The Champs. Access to the Club House will be via the side entrance. Please take the pathway that runs parallel to the golf course and begins to the left of the turning circle.
There will be a security officer here who will carry out a bag search in the interests of member and club safety.
ACCESS TO CLUB GROUNDS
Due to recent security incidents we have been advised that we need to instigate a NO PERMIT NO ENTRY regime.
A car-parking permit will be required if you wish to drive into the grounds and can be obtained by contacting reception before 5.30pm.
Permits are only available to adult club members.
If travelling by foot you will need your membership card to prove that you are a member as there will be security at the gate.
CLUB GROUNDS OPEN/CLOSE TIMES
During the Wimbledon Tennis Tournament the main gates will be closed at 11.30pm and re opened at 6.30am.
Also overnight parking is not permitted unless prior arrangements have been made with Clare Wood - clare@twcsport.co.uk . This is for security reasons and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
