Biggest ever night for team squash: Div 1 title on the line & 6s shoot for promotion

Next Wednesday, 25th is set to be a huge night for TWC squash. Two teams. Two decisive matches. Everything on the line.

TWC 1s – DIVISION 1 TITLE ON LINE

The 1s travel to Oakwood knowing the Surrey Cup Division 1 championship will be decided there and then.

Last week’s 5–0 win over St George’s Hill wasn’t just impressive, it was essential. The team delivered under pressure and kept the title race alive. Horley matched that result against Oakwood so it all comes down to the final match of the season.

Oakwood is only a short trip away and a loud TWC crowd in the gallery could make a real difference. If you can be there, this is the one to watch.

Next Wednesday is just as big at home for the Men’s 6th team.

They face Division 7B leaders RAC 2 on the 25th, with promotion within reach for the second year running.

RAC are already destined for promotion but the second placed team goes up too. TWC 6 are locked level with Warlingham on 166 points so a strong win is crucial with every game vital.

The match starts at 7.30pm and home support could be the difference between staying put and going up.
