I would like to update you with the arrangements that have been made in order to allow the squash courts and associated facilities to remain open whilst minimising any risk to you and our guests.
These measures are under constant review and future changes will be notified to members.
CLUB CHAMPS
Singles matches (both senior and junior) will continue to be played but only if members are happy to do so.
Entrants who would prefer not to play can put their rounds on hold until further notice.
We will be stopping the doubles events.
There will be a new date for finals night. This is yet to be confirmed.
SENIOR GROUP SESSIONS
All club-organised group sessions are now on hold.
This includes Coffee Morning, Club Training, Ladies Social and Club Night.
It is not advisable to play doubles or to organise any member-led group sessions.
COURT AVAILABILITY
Only courts 1,3 and 5 will be bookable from tomorrow until further notice.
LEAGUES
The leagues will continue to run and an extended, new end-date for the existing cycle to finish will be announced. Members are not under any obligation to play these matches.
JUNIOR SESSIONS
All club-organised junior group sessions are on hold until further notice which includes Friday and Saturday sessions and Junior Club Night.
We would advise against organising any member-led, group sessions.
CHANGING ROOM, SAUNA AND SHOWERS
Changing rooms and showers will remain open. The sauna is out of use.
CLEANING MATERIALS
Cleaning materials are available for use in key locations; changing rooms, by courts etc. Please leave the cleaning materials in the locations you find them. If they are running short please let the bar staff know. Please be respectful of the needs of others.
SCHOOLS
There will not be any schools using the club until further notice.
SQUASH CAMPS
There are not any camps currently scheduled.
INDIVIDUAL LESSONS
These are available to book directly with the coaches.
RECEPTION
Reception is closed from today and most staff are working from home.
